What to Expect

A Typical Lord’s Day Gathering

We gather each Sunday to worship God, hear His Word, pray together, and encourage one another in the faith. Here is what you can expect during our gathering at Trinity Baptist Church.

  • Scripture Reading

We read the Word of God (usually a chapter) publicly, allowing Scripture to shape our worship and direct our faith and practice.

  • Congregational Singing

We sing together, using psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs that glorify God, proclaim biblical truth, and encourage the congregation.

  • Pastoral Prayer

A pastor or elder will lead the congregation in prayer, thanking God, confessing sin, and interceding for the church and world.

  • Expository Preaching

We hear the Word of God faithfully explained and applied, as the sermon seeks to help us understand Scripture and live in obedience to it.

  • Offering

Members give cheerfully and willingly as an act of worship and stewardship, supporting the ministry of the church and the advancement of the gospel. Visitors are welcome and are under no obligation to give.

  • Welcome & Fellowship

After the service, we take time to meet, encourage one another, and enjoy fellowship as a church family. We would be glad to meet you and help you feel welcome.
